Jonah Ray: Originally from Honolulu, Hawaii, Jonah Ray came to Los Angeles in 2001 to play and tour in indie rock bands, but later started to focus on writing and performing comedy. Ray started his TV career as a writer’s assistant for The Andy Milonakis Show, before being fired then immediately being re-hired as a full time writer. Since then Ray has written and performed on shows such as Human Giant, Supernews, Web Soup, The Soup, and has appeared as a stand up on Conan, Live at Gotham, and Comedy Central’s Mash Up.
Matt Mira: In early 2010, comedian/TV personality Chris Hardwick, asked Mira to bring his love of NASA & Comedy to the Nerdistpodcast where he currently serves as a Co-Host along with writer/comedian Jonah Ray. In LA, Mira can be found as a repeat guest at the weekly Meltdown show, he hosts an open mic every Sunday, aptly dubbed Matt Mira’s Day Off, and with writer/comedian Kumail Nanjani, he started a monthly show, Star Drek, highlighting the very worst of Star Trek.
Chris Hardwick: Chris Hardwick is a professional stand-up comedian and a self proclaimed nerd. He hosts The Soup’s geeky little brother show Web Soup, and plays with gadgets on Attack of the Show, both on a channel that awkward teenage boys refer to as G4. Hardwick is also a writer for Wired Magazine and a talking cow on Nickelodeon’s, Back at the Barnyard. In his spare time, Hardwick is attempting to build an evil nerd empire under the moniker, Nerdist Industries, which includes: a wildly popular blog at Nerdist.com, a top ten (and sometimes even number one) comedy podcast on iTunes recently named as one of the top 10 best comedy podcasts by Rolling Stone.
