Often described as a “squirrel on coffee,“ Kara is celebrating over three years of sobriety! This little nut uses comedy as her therapy and pokes fun at everything from step parenting to marriage to everyday mishaps.
Matthew Zerilli’s outsider style of comedy is part social commentary and part absurd report on the human condition. He is a recovering alcoholic, relapsed Catholic, and aspiring narcissist. He has performed with many big names and is the cofounder and producer of Kamikaze Comedy in Traverse City, MI.
Whitney is a stand-up comedian and sober person based in Chicago. She produces Serenity Now!, a monthly showcase featuring the country’s finest sober performers in a drug and alcohol-free environment at The Crowd Theater.
Brian Emuge is a Chicago based comedian who performs all around the Midwest. He produces a monthly showcase called “We’re All Fine Here, How Are You?” in Logan Square. He’s performed at the St. Louis Funny Bone, Chicago Underground Comedy, and many other independent comedy showcases.
After a year and some-odd days of sobriety, Gerrit Elzinga has never been more clearheaded and confident. His skills as a social commentator, personal storyteller and fart-sound enthusiast have been honed all across the country as a traveling comedian and cohost of the podcast “This Better Be Good.”
With over two years sobriety, Aaron helps people laugh while highlighting recovery from a Christian perspective. He shares true stories about finding joy and laughter through the struggles and uncomfortable situations of life.
