Sunday, March 12, 2017
Grand Rapids, MI
Registration begins at 8:30 AM
Race Starts at 10:00 AM

This unique race invites participants to wear their finest (and funniest!) underwear over their running clothes in support of Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids! So forget black tie, there is a NEW dress code in town for fundraising events-underwear! Help us bring laughter and awareness of emotional health to the streets of Grand Rapids. Hey, when else can you run (or walk!) around in your underwear and NOT have it end with a ride in the back seat of a fancy car with flashing lights?

Registration Prior to February 19: $30 (Includes official race t-shirt and finisher medal from Terryberry)
Late Registration on or after February 19: $35 (Includes official race t-shirt and finisher medal – shirt size is not guaranteed)

Online Registration is now closed.  Please register at GRCC Ford Fieldhouse starting at 8:30AM on Sunday, March 12.

Please note: All registration fees are non-refundable. All proceeds from this event benefit the cancer & grief support programs offered through Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids. Thanks for your contribution!

We take our underwear seriously around here, and this year is no exception! Be sure to don your flashiest, most creative attire and you just may be picked as one of this year’s big winners! Prizes will be awarded for best underwear, best couple, best dog, and more!

Participants of the FUNderwear Run are also encouraged to do some additional fundraising for Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids, a free emotional health support community where children, adults, families, and friends find their smile and laughter even in the midst of a cancer or grief journey.  Click here to set up your own online fundraising page and share with your friends! (Click Register at the top of the page to begin.)

HEY DOGS! Make sure your owner reads this note if they plan on dressing you up in underwear and bringing you to the run!

Owners: Only bring dogs (one dog per owner) that are well-behaved around other dogs and people; must be kept on a leash at all times on leashes no longer than 6 feet (no retractable leashes) and please keep it short at the start to avoid entanglement. We reserve the right to ask the owner and dog to leave if we feel that they are an endangerment to the other participants.

Pet Policy: Please keep all pets on a leash while at the event. Make sure your dog is well-mannered and up to date on vaccines. Be aware that puppies under the age of 16 weeks have not received all their shots and are more susceptible to acquiring an illness. Dogs four months and older should be current on the rabies vaccine. Also, be aware that not all dogs are given bordetella, the vaccine for dogs that prevents kennel cough.
